MBSA V1 會掃瞄 Windows NT 4.0、Windows 2000、Windows XP、Microsoft Internet Information Services 4.0 與 5.0、Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01+、Microsoft SQL Server 7.0、SQL Server 2000、Microsoft Office 2000 以及 Microsoft Office XP。

In order to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista, MBSA 2.1 Beta 2 is now available. Beta 2 maintains the current MBSA 2.0.x functionality but adds Windows Vista support.
MBSA 2.1 Beta 1 supports the following scenarios:
